Dan’s Woodbury, MN Door Installation Project

When it came time for door replacement, he relied on our team of experts to give him advice on new front and patio doors. Beauty, energy efficiency, and durability were top priorities. Front Door: For Dan’s front door, we recommended the installation of a fiberglass door by ProVia®. Dan appreciated that the new front door provided a look similar to wood, but did not require the upkeep. ProVia® fiberglass doors are built with reliable weather-stripping and an insulated core. Both components are critical in promoting energy efficiency. In addition, the fiberglass door we installed at Dan’s home will require minimal upkeep and is resistant to rust, mold, rot, and deterioration. This made it the ideal choice for a home in Minnesota. An aged bronze finish was utilized on the front door hardware. When incorporated with the honey wheat interior and caramel exterior, a charming and timeless look was created.
Patio Door: For his patio door, Dan chose to have our craftsmen install a sliding French door from Infinity® from Marvin. One of the key features that provides peace of mind is the door’s multipoint locking system. This not only promotes energy efficiency, but also acts as a deterrent to burglars. The top-hung screen easily maneuvers without the worry of dirt or organic debris becoming stuck in the sill. Infinity® From Marvin patio doors are made from Ultrex® fiberglass which is manufactured to never warp, rot, or discolor. The product’s strength makes it the perfect choice for Minnesota homeowners. That’s because it’s built to hold up in extreme year-round temperature fluctuations. For the interior of the door, Dan opted for the EverWood® Engineered Finish. This finish imitates the look of wood without the maintenance or worry of rot. Through the assistance of our custom stain shop, Dan was able to pick the color he wanted for the door’s interior.
