Karl’s Minnetrista, MN Decking & Gutter Project
Last fall, Karl moved into a newly constructed home in Minnetrista, MN. It was outfitted with gorgeous features such a sizable loft, granite countertops, and hardwood flooring. However, the builder that had completed the house had left it up to the homeowner to retain the services of a rain gutter company.
Phase 1: Gutter Replacement
Understanding the importance of correctly installed gutters, he opted to have us complete this project, rather than tackle it himself. We provided him with clog-free gutters than feature a protective hood to keep leaves, twigs, and other debris from building up. Homeowners can rest assured that in the event their gutter installation ever does clog, our team will offer a complimentary cleaning.
Phase 2: Deck Installation
The second phase of Karl’s project was adding a deck to the home. His two biggest requests for the deck installation was that it be maintenance-free and well-built.
For the footings, we suggested the Diamond Pier system, which combats frost heave better than conventional concrete footings. They also trump concrete footings in the speed and ease at which they can be installed.
The deck boards and stairs came from AZEK® Deck’s Vintage Collection. Clients that have us install from this deck line appreciate that it provides the veritable look of wood. Textures are austere, colors are rich, and the durability is uncompromising. To round out the look, a railing comprised of fortress steel was used.
