Deborah’s previous deck had a drink rail which is a flat, wide surface that gives guests a place to set beverages on.  This feature was something she deeply desired in her new deck.  To accommodate this request, we offered the use of TimberTech AZEK™.  This capped PVC decking material provides the aesthetics of natural hardwood and has warranties for fading, staining, and weathering.  Brownstone coloring from the Harvest collection was used in order to tie into the home’s siding and provide a contrast to the deck boards and bench.

In most cases, we encourage the homeowners we work with to expand their deck railing options beyond the offerings of the deck manufacturer.  This allows for a unique look and unparalleled durability.  Ultimately, Deborah opted for a Westbury aluminum railing.  These low maintenance systems are accompanied with finish warranties to ensure they are enjoyed for years to come.
